Bryson Taylor Publishing, established in 2004 as a division of Bryson Taylor Inc., originated as a venue for Deb Landry to self publish her anti bullying children’s book, after a crusade to lobby for legislation to aid and protect school age children from bullying and harassment. Since then her book, Sticks Stones and Stumped, loosely based on her son’s bullying experience in middle school, became an award winning, best selling children’s book. Bryson Taylor Publishing launched a full-scale publishing company in 2006 with the commitment to publishing books, CDs, workbooks and distributes publications that have a positive and inspirational self help, social awareness, educational resources and healing influence for children, youth and adults. The genre and subjects reflected in BTP products include a variety of topics such as: social values, alternative health, nutrition, parenting, psychology, autobiographies, and much more. We aim to celebrate the eager minds of children through energetic illustrated stories, awareness and aid adults create life balance. Inspiring stories of friendship, respect and communication stimulates young imaginations while allowing creativity to flow and nurture inner peace. We love to hear from our readers. Please note our guidelines below for your publishing needs. Does BTP accept unsolicited manuscripts? BTP does not accept unsolicited manuscripts or proposals. We do accept submissions THROUGH AN AGENT ONLY. There are no exceptions to this policy. Unsolicited manuscript are not accepted and will not be returned if sent to us. Bryson Taylor Publishing does offer consulting and editorial services to assist in your publishing needs. Please contact us at info@brysontaylorpublishing.com. What if I don’t have an agent? We do not recommend agents. Please consult the Agents Directory, which is available at most bookstores or on the Internet. What types of books do you publish? Note that we publish fiction and nonfiction in the areas of social values and awareness, alternative health, parenting, educational, psychology, and autobiographies. We are interested in these subjects only if they have a positive self help or social awareness angle. No children’s books unless written and illustrated by the same person. We publish hardcover and trade paperback books. We average 5 titles a year and pay standard royalties. Do you carry or distribute books you don’t publish? Yes, to provide our customers with optimal service we have chosen a variety of books in our catalog to compliment our publications and we also carry publications by our authors who are published by other publishing houses |
